The Greater Victoria Compost Education Centre is a non-profit organization that provides information on composting, organic gardening, conservation, local food production, and food sustainability.
LifeCycles is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating awareness and initiating action around food, health, and urban sustainability in the Greater Victoria community. They work proactively to promote and create personal, shared and community gardens, research, and educational activities and youth skills development programs. They spearhead projects such as Growing Schools, Sharing Backyards, the Fruit Tree Project, and Food Miles.
